INM Technical-Scientific Council meeting from 18.06.2019

The meeting of the INM Technical-Scientific Council took place today, 18.06.2019, at INM. The Council is a consulting body with general and legal metrology attributions. The meeting was attended by the representatives of INM, MEI and of other organizations activating in the field of metrology.

The following subjects were voted within the meeting today:

1. Type approval of measuring instruments in the result of metrological testing, i.e. the Liquid Chromatograph type Agilent 1260 Infinity II.

2. Approval of normative documents in the area of legal metrology:

• Draft NML 9-XX:2019 ”Exhaust gas analyzers. Metrological verification procedure”.
• Draft NML 1-XX:2019 ”Metric rods. Metrological verification procedure”.
• Draft NML 5-XX:2019 ”Atomic emission spectrometers. Technical and metrological requirements. Metrological verification procedure”.

3. Registration of national comparison themes:

• MD/034/19 “Calibration of liquid thermostats”
• MD/035/19 “Metrological verification of opacimeters (smoke meters)”
• MD/036/19 “Metrological verification of resistance thermometers”
• MD/037/19 “Metrological verification of diaphragm gas meters”
• MD/038/19 “Calibration of measuring sieves”

Also, there were discussed some proposals for amending the legal metrology norm NML 10-02:2018 ”Devices (laser) for measuring the speed of moving vehicles. Technical and metrological requirements. Metrological verification procedure”.
