”Pressure and Force” Laboratory


The ”Pressure and Force” Laboratory manages – undertakes, preserves and disseminates through modern equipment the measurement units of: pressure and force.

Main objectives of the laboratory are:

        
  • Assurance of uniformity, accuracy and traceability of measurements on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
  •     
  • Management, maintenance, storage, preservance of measurement standards and of the equipment owned by the laboratory.
  •     
  • Research of the National Measurement Standards Base and of the equipment owned by the laboratory.
  •     
  • Storage, reproduction and dissemination of measurement units from national and reference measurement standards to the other standards and measuring instruments according to ierarchic schemes.
  •     
  • Participation in interlaboratory comparisons at international level for demonstration of laboratory measurement capabilities.
  •     
  • High accuracy measurements performance.
  •     
  • Maintenance and continuous improvement of the quality management in the laboratory.
  •     
  • Development of calibration procedures for satisfying the necessity of economic agents regarding the traceability of measurement units.

National and reference measurement standards

National measurement standard of pressure approved by order of the Ministry of Economy no. 409 of December 29, 2017, is made up of the following equipment:

1. Piston-cylinder assembly type PC-710017600-200, DHI Instruments: set of weights, bell PG 7102, base PG 7102, manual pressure adjustment controller model MPCl-1000.

2. Piston-cylinder assembly type PC-710017600-rc-TC-L, DHI Instruments: set of weights, bell PG 7000, base PG 7601, manual pressure adjustment controller.

3. Piston-Cylinder Assembly type 2465-725, Fluke Corporation: weight set type 2465A, vacuum bell type 2456-Vac, temperature transducer type 2455-1l-006, monitor type 2456-80000, environmental parameter monitor type 2456-LEM, software - Compass.

4. Temperature, humidity and pressure meter type THB1.

 

Reference mesurement standard of pressure unit consist from:

1. Pressure balance type CPB-5000.

2. Pressure balance type МП-60.

3. Pressure calibrator type RMP-4.

4. Automatic pressure calibrator type ADT760.

5. Micromanovacuumeter type MKB-250.

 

Etalonul național de referință a forței constă din următoarele componente:

1. Mașină de forță tip DO-2-5.

2. Dinamometru etalon tip DOCM-3-1.

3. Dinamometru etalon tip KTN-D.

4. Dinamometru etalon tip KTN-Z/D.

5. Dinamometru etalon tip KAL 2MN.
