The engineers of the INM Ionizing Radiations Laboratory have finished today, 11.05.2021, the measurements within the interlaboratory comparison EURAMET.RI(I)-S18 (EURAMET Project 1467) in the field of Ionizing Radiations.
The radiation qualities selected for the comparison were:
N-40 (mandatory);
N-100 (mandatory);
N-200 (additional);
S-Cs (mandatory);
S-Co (additional).
The pilot laboratory of the comparison is the Metrology Institute of the Republic of Serbia (VINS), gathering participants from 13 states, among which the National Institute of Metrology of the Republic of Moldova.
The transfer standard is an ionizing chamber Seibersdorf HS01, offered by PTB Germany. INM has received the equipment from Turkey and had approximately 3 weeks for conducting the measurements, and further shall send it to the Ukrainian Institute of Metrology.
