We are proud to announce all stakeholders that INM has become on 24 August 2020 full member of Secondary Standards Dosimetry Laboratories Network of the International Atomic Energy Agency and World Health Organization IAEA/WHO SSDL.
Accurate measurement of the radiation dose is required in any country where ionizing radiation is used.
The International Atomic Energy Agency in 1976, in collaboration with the World Health Organization, established an IAEA/WHO SSDL Network, and by fulfilling the obligations set for network members, a secondary standards dosimetry lab is receiving a range of benefits and access to a database that will make a significant contribution to its development.
A significant contribution is directed towards technical support including training courses and seminars aimed at the continuous development of staff, promoting sharing of experience among members and the metrological community and provides mutual support where necessary.
